The Unseen noticed the coloring book.
Nobody's quite sure how this information reached the village — by the time gossip travels, the source is usually three removes from anything verifiable. But the word in the square is that the hooded figure was seen holding a copy, turning its pages slowly, stopping for a long time on the picture of the Empty Throne.
"He didn't color anything," one witness claimed. "Just looked." Another swears a single page — Nox's — was found later with the eyes colored in. Black, of course.
Lupa, when told, went very quiet, which for Lupa is unprecedented. Leo said only: "Even the Unseen is part of the world. The book belongs to everyone."
