Alice's position: the map is fine. Jack was holding it upside down, the ditch was clearly marked, and the mud was, quote, "a learning experience."
The map itself has declined to comment, though Aquila — who sees truly and from very high up — was heard to remark that both of them were technically correct, which resolved nothing.
