Throne Watch

Throne Watch — strange lights over the west ridge

2026-10-24

THRONE WATCH — we watch so you don't have to.

Throne Watch observers report slow-moving lights over the west ridge, three nights running. The lights drift, pause, and drift again, in a pattern one watcher described as "deliberate, but rude about it."

Nox has been assigned to investigate, which regular readers will recognize as the standard procedure for anything unexplained, slow-moving, or faintly glowing. "He'll figure it out," said a fellow watcher. "He always does. He'll just take his time and look extremely wise doing it."

The Watch reminds readers: lights are not thrones, thrones are not lights, and anything you can't explain should be reported, not followed. Especially at night. Especially on the ridge.
